Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pine Lake Prep). They wrapped up 2024 with a 51-33 win over the West Iredell Warriors. The victory was some much needed relief for the Pride as it spelled an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Pine Lake Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caitlin Green, who posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madelyn Beaver, who earned 13 points.

Pine Lake Prep's victory bumped their record up to 2-9. As for West Iredell, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Pine Lake Prep is taking a road trip to square off against Mountain Island Charter at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Pine Lake Prep is facing Mountain Island Charter at the right time seeing as Mountain Island Charter is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for West Iredell, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Foard at 6:00 p.m.
