Fostoria lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ashley Little, who had five digs, a kill, and 16 assists. Another player making a difference was Adori Bishop, who had four kills and two aces.
Genoa Area's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Fostoria, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-20.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Genoa Area will take on Oak Harbor at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Fostoria and Fairview will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
