The Judson Rockets came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 81-30 win over Winn on the road. Considering Judson has won three contests by more than 23 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Several Mavericks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was David Rodriguez, who scored 7 points along with 3 steals. Rodriguez has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.
Judson has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Winn, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.
Judson will square off against Marcus at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Marcus' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last ten games. As for Winn, they will square off against Brackenridge at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Brackenridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Thursday.
