The team also got some help courtesy of Bishop Boswell, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.
Independence's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-7. As for Myers Park, the victory was the 23rd in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 27-2.
Independence does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Myers Park, they will stay at home for another game and welcome North Mecklenburg at 7:00 p.m. on March 8th. North Mecklenburg is coming into the matchup with nine straight victories on the road, so Myers Park will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
