The Hall Warriors fell victim to the Lamar Warriors''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Warriors, falling 39-0. Hall was already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Caleb Green was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 140 yards on only seven carries, and also threw for 52 yards and two touchdowns. Green was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 51 yards.
Hall's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lamar, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hall will take on Bauxite at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lamar, they will be playing at home against Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Clinton's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last eight matches.
