Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Touchet). Everything went their way against the Walla Walla Valley Academy Knights on Friday as they made off with a 19-4 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Redhawks as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Touchet's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 3-11. As for Walla Walla Valley Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Touchet will host Pomeroy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Redhawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season. As for Walla Walla Valley Academy, they will be playing at home against St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.77 runs per game on average), something Walla Walla Valley Academy will no doubt try to take advantage of.
