The StoneBridge Cavaliers had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat TEACH 65-29 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory StoneBridge has posted since December 18, 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead StoneBridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyler Thompson, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Thompson has scored all season. Douglas Marshall was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
StoneBridge's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7. As for TEACH, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. StoneBridge will take on Atlantic Shores Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. TEACH on the road again on Friday and play against Norfolk Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th.
