Kevin Young produced another solid effort rushing for 279 yards and five TDs while picking up 17.4 yards per carry, and also throwing for 101 yards and a pair of touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards. Vonterrious Williams did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 80 receiving yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Forrest City was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 284 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 154 rushing yards in nine consecutive games dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Riverview's offense. They were dealt a 63-0 defeat at the hands of Mills University Studies on Friday. The Raiders just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.
Forrest City pushed their record up to 3-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points over those games. As for Riverview, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
