Justin-Siena will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Friday, then bounced right back against Bethel on Monday. The Braves blew past the Jaguars 25-9. The Braves' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Ale Guerrero made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She also tossed two walks, marking her first of the season. She was even better at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in all six of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Justin-Siena let Caiden Grimmer and Lilah Fern run wild. Grimmer scored five runs and stole two bases while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances, while Fern scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances. Grimmer is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Aranda, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.
Justin-Siena always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .776. The last time their OBP was this high was back in February of 2024.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, American Canyon's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against Vanden, falling 11-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wolves have suffered since March 4th.
Deja Montgomery made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was Aalayah Ramos, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
Justin-Siena's victory ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. As for American Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4-1.
Justin-Siena suffered a grim 17-1 defeat to American Canyon when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Braves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
