Cambridge can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 54-20 win over South Loup. The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Mallory Springer was nothing short of spectacular: she dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. Springer is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Joslyn Holtze was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and nine boards.

Cambridge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Cambridge's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for South Loup, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.
