 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Natalie Minkler, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-2. Those  three  runs gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Paola Marquez, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Glendale was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .500. They are undefeated (5-0) when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
 Glendale's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 7-4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Mountain View, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
