The Brownell Talbot Raiders won the last time they faced the Cedar Bluffs Wildcats, and things went their way on Monday too. Everything went Brownell Talbot's way against the Wildcats as the Raiders made off with a 54-29 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Brownell Talbot just coasted through the last quarter.
Matt Schinzel was a one-man wrecking crew for Brownell Talbot as he scored 23 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Schinzel has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Simon Lim, who scored 11 points.
Despite the loss, Cedar Bluffs saw an underclassman step up: Trayven Kluthe scored 14 points.
Brownell Talbot's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Cedar Bluffs, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Brownell Talbot will take on the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cedar Bluffs, they will face off against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
