Volleyball Recap: Greater Miami Academy Comes Up Short

The Greater Miami Academy Warriors lost 3-0 to the Goleman Gators on Tuesday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Greater Miami Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Goleman's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-16, 25-20.

Goleman got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Adrian Alexander Morales out in front who had 11 digs and three assists. Morales has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times he's played.

Greater Miami Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Goleman, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.
