Collin Smith posted a new career-low in walks on Tuesday. He turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Looking ahead, Smith and Parklane Academy will venture away from home to take on Oak Forest Academy at 6:30 p.m. on March 25th. Parklane Academy will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 55 places lower in their respective states), but they're not letting that get them down.
