Aberdeen is 0-6 against WF West since September of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Aberdeen Bobcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the WF West Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Aberdeen earned a 20-8 win over Rochester.
Aidan Watkins was a one-man wrecking crew for Aberdeen as he rushed for 178 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. Watkins' longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
Meanwhile, WF West strolled past Prairie with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 26-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for WF West.
Aberdeen's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 5-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-7 Centralia and 1-6 Black Hills (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 23.8% over those games). WF West has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.
Aberdeen was taken down by WF West 42-15 when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Will Aberdeen have more luck at home instead of on the road?
