Kenston is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Beachwood a seven-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Kenston Bombers will host the Beachwood Bison at 5:00 p.m. The last four games Kenston has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
On Thursday, it was close, but Kenston sidestepped Shaker Heights for a 6-4 victory.

Kenston's win was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Kaltenbach, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Those three hits gave Kaltenbach a new career-high. Another was Graysen Bischof, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.
Kenston was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beachwood). They came out on top against Berkshire by a score of 11-7 on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bison considering their two-run performance the match before.
Jaycob Zabell and Lucius Venditti made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Zabell struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Venditti tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. At the plate, Zabell got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI, while Venditti went 1-for-3 with two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ethan Malek, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, three doubles, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavi Lappen, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.
Kenston's victory bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Beachwood, their win bumped their record up to 5-12.
