Clay Center's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wamego Red Raiders. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Red Raiders recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Clay Center never let Wamego on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-10.

Raimee Lipker paced Clay Center's offense, picking up eight kills. Lipker got some help from Raicee Lipker and her 18 assists. Addy Pladson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Clay Center's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Wamego, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Clay Center beat the Red Raiders by a score of 2-0 later that day.
