It was a good run, but Auburn unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Baldwinsville Bees, falling 19-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Maroons of the 4-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Auburn saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dewey Fox, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

Auburn's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Baldwinsville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Auburn will head out to take on Jamesville-DeWitt at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Baldwinsville, they will square off against Central Square at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
