Springtown had won eight straight games and Kaine Hill did his part to make it nine on Thursday. The Porcupines claimed a resounding 62-0 win over the Western Hills Cougars for which the team can thank Hill, who threw for 259 yards and six TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last five games he's played.
Christian Mendoza was another key player, picking up 78 receiving yards and a pair of scores. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 50 yards.
