There's no place like home for Bishop O'Dowd, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Alameda Hornets on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Bishop O'Dowd had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-18, 25-15, 25-21.

Bishop O'Dowd has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-13 record this season. As for Alameda, their loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 14-9.
