It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Westminster Academy Lions had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They blew past the Sharks 49-27. Winning may never get old, but Westminster Academy sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Despite the loss, NSU University saw an underclassman step up: Kimora Exum scored 18 points along with four steals and two blocks.
Westminster Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 16-9 record this season. As for NSU University, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.
Westminster Academy will square off against Miami Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Westminster Academy is coming into the game with four straight wins on the road, meaning Miami Country Day will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. NSU University does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
