The Heritage Eagles were the 54-49 winner over the Boulder Panthers when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Heritage took a 53-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Boulder on Monday. Heritage has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Heritage still got an impressive performance from Jace Winkler, who scored eight points. Winkler set a new season high mark in steals with two. The team also got some help courtesy of Atticus Schroeder, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Boulder, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
Heritage will face off against Westminster at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westminster comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Boulder, they will head out on the road to face off against Arvada West at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th.
