Syracuse and Davis are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2024, but not for long. The Titans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Darts at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Syracuse has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 17.
Syracuse came up short against Weber on Tuesday, falling 3-0.
Syracuse took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 27-25.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Zane Nanney, who had nine digs, two aces, and one block. He has been hot for a while, having also posted 14 or more assists the last 11 times he's played. Ian Sprague was another key player, getting 12 digs and two assists.
Meanwhile, Davis faced Lone Peak in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Darts lost 3-0 to the Knights. Considering the last time the Darts couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.
The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 25-18.
Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Syracuse, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
