Basketball Recap: Jackson Wallace's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Stafford over Brooke Point

Stafford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 81-67 to the Brooke Point Black Hawks. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 64-52 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jackson Wallace, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 15 points in addition to eight assists and eight steals. Wallace is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Zion Bacchus, who went 7 for 9 on his way to 18 points and seven rebounds.

Stafford's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Brooke Point, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3.

Stafford and Courtland will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Stafford is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.6 points per game this season. As for Brooke Point, they will venture away from home to take on Massaponax at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brooke Point has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 215 points over their last three contests.
