7A/6A West recap October 8, 2013
Har-Ber's Sain Mathews recorded the longest rushing play in 7A/6A West this season in his game against Rogers Heritage last week. Mathews ran for 64 yards on the play and finished with 307 on the day as his team defeated the War Eagles.
Fayetteville extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Springdale, 38-14. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Bulldogs.
Har-Ber's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kyle Pianalto threw for 276 and 4 touchdowns and Gus Vitt had 112 yards receiving. On the ground Mathews contributed 307 yards. Matt Garrison helped Har-Ber's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 94 yards.
Mathews was a passing and rushing force as Chris Wood's team beat Rogers Heritage. Mathews' key target this week was Vitt, who caught 8 passes for 112 yards.

The most important game in 7A/6A West this week will be the match up between Bentonville and Rogers. The Tigers comes into the matchup ranked first in the state, while the Mounties ranks 18th.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Bentonville takes on Rogers. Barry Lunney's team has allowed 89 points this season, while the Mounties have given up 87. The Tigers allowed 3 points last week as they defeated Siloam Springs.
Bentonville led the league in scoring this week by notching 45 points on the Panthers.
