Carter Daniels Dazzles in Mountain Vista Win
Carter Daniels's big game helped extend Mountain Vista's winning streak to eight on Friday. Daniels was unstoppable, making 25 total tackles (1.0 for loss) and snagged an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown. Daniels is crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season.

Mountain Vista Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to Jack Blais
Mountain Vista picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jack Blais. Nobody could stop Blais as he rushed for 99 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also picked up 47 receiving yards and a touchdown.
If the past is any indication, Blais could be in store for another big game when he takes on Rock Canyon on Friday. When Blais last faced the Jaguars back in October of 2023, he rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.

Cash Spence Goes Supernova in Valor Christian Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Cash Spence stepped things up a notch to give Valor Christian the 'W'. ThunderRidge had no answer to Spence as he picked up 89 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
For the season, Spence has caught 8 touchdowns while averaging 81.2 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 33.63 receiving yards per game.

Austyn Modrzewski Turns in Another Game with at Least Three Passing Touchdowns
Austyn Modrzewski was instrumental in extending Mountain Vista's winning streak to eight on Friday. Modrzewski turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 276 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 31 yards. He has been hot for a while, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last ten times he's played.
