After flying high against the Alpha Omega Academy Lions last Friday, the Legacy Prep Christian Academy Lions came back down to earth. Legacy Prep Christian Academy took a hard 44-28 fall against Concordia Lutheran on Thursday. Legacy Prep Christian Academy lost against Concordia Lutheran in their previous head to head back in November, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 39-36 score last time.
Legacy Prep Christian Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Charlotte Freeman, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds, and Ginger Freeman who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Freeman scored a full 57.1% of Legacy Prep Christian Academy's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Legacy Prep Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Concordia Lutheran, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Kountze the next time they take the court. Legacy Prep Christian Academy will host Kountze at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, while Concordia Lutheran will head out to face them at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
