With Richfield Springs Central ahead 44-22 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Several Spartans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lilly Tessier, who scored 19 points. That's the first time this season that Tessier scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Fassett, who scored 15 points.
Richfield Springs Central pushed their record up to 3-0 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Sharon Springs Central, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
