4A Region IV District 26 recap September 4, 2013
Mulbah Car of Reagan ran for the longest rushing play in 4A Region IV District 26 this season against Hyde Park Baptist last week. Car's team lost to the Panthers as he sprinted for 80 yards on the play and finished with 132 in all.
Fans got a thrill when Jonathon Caldwell and Johnny Williams connected against Cedar Creek. The connection went for 59 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.
Travis's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Caldwell threw for 266 and 3 touchdowns and Williams had 151 yards receiving. On the ground Eric Strait chipped in 153 yards. Vondell Hargrove helped Travis' passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 52 yards.
