Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Green Hill Hawks, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were outmatched by Riverdale on the road and fell 50-13. Green Hill was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-13.
Braden Graham got back to being his usual excellent self, as he threw for 375 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Isaiah Verser also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Green Hill has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season. As for Riverdale, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.
Green Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Riverdale will be playing at home against Cookeville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cookeville is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
