Amity will challenge Rainier on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Rainier will need to watch out since Amity have now posted big point totals in their last six contests.
Amity ran circles around Willamina last Friday, and the extra yardage (543 yards vs. 156.1 yards) paid off. Amity steamrollered Willamina 50-14. No one put up better numbers for Amity than senior West Streeter, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 168 yards and 2 touchdowns. Streeter has been a consistent playmaker for Amity as this was the 6th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, Rainier put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. Everything went their way against Dayton as they made off with a 32-8 victory. The victory was familiar territory for Rainier, who now have six in a row.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 6-0. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
