The La Pryor Bulldogs will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Stockdale Brahmas at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. La Pryor comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Last Monday, La Pryor was beaten by Utopia 65-36. La Pryor has struggled against Utopia recently, as their game last Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Stockdale's 22-10 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Marion on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Stockdale has lost by exactly seven points.
La Pryor's defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-9. As for Stockdale, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
La Pryor took a serious blow against Stockdale in their previous meeting back in January, falling 83-10. Can La Pryor avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
