It was a good run, but Pike County Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 93-76 bruising from the Lawrence County Bulldogs. The Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 77-75.

Pike County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Lawrence County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-10.
