The Tharptown Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Whitesburg Christian Academy, falling 44-0. Tharptown lost against Whitesburg Christian Academy in their previous head to head back in October of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 49-7 score last time.
Kaleb Robinson was the offensive standout of the game as he threw for 249 yards and two touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Tobin Jaeger and his 105 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Whitesburg Christian Academy's victory.
Tharptown bumped their record down to 1-10 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.2 points per game. As for Whitesburg Christian Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-8.
Tharptown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Whitesburg Christian Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
