Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Breaux Bridge). Everything went their way against the Berchmans Academy Saints on Friday as the Breaux Bridge Tigers made off with a 13-3 win. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Tigers with their most commanding win of the season.

Breaux Bridge pushed their record up to 3-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs over those games. As for Berchmans Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Breaux Bridge didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-0 win against Comeaux on the 21st. As for Berchmans Academy, they will take on Episcopal of Acadiana at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
