Jaden Haywood Delivers Best Effort of Season
Jaden Haywood produced his most outstanding game to date while leading East Hamilton to the win on Friday. Haywood wasn't messing around, rushing for 333 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry. The matchup was his fifth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 93-yard run.
The win (which was East Hamilton's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Haywood and East Hamilton will face off against Walker Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Caleb Carr Has Career Rushing Day
Sadly, Caleb Carr posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Rhea County over McMinn County on Friday. Carr rushed for 54 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 97 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the year, Carr has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 114.8 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 61.83 passing yards per game.
