The Dickinson Gators entered their tilt with the Clear Creek Wildcats with 17 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 18. Dickinson took down the Wildcats 62-46 on Friday. Given Dickinson's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Wildcats are ranked 325th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Jazmine Hansley, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and ten steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ciara Williams, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Dickinson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 21 of their last 22 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 29-4 record this season. As for Clear Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 18-12 record this season.
Dickinson will be playing at home against the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clear Brook is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road. Clear Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
