Seton Catholic had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 33-point drubbing they dealt Florence on Tuesday. The Seton Catholic Sentinels breezed by the Florence Gophers to the tune of 58-25. The Sentinels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 25 points or more this season.

Seton Catholic had a senior duo take command as Carmella Gallardo went 8 for 19 en route to 27 points along with eight boards and four steals and Mia Dipuccio dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Gallardo has scored at least a third of Seton Catholic's points. Another player making a difference was Esmeralda Lanigan, who posted two points and six rebounds.

Seton Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.9 points per game. As for Florence, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
