Wewahitchka made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Munroe, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Gators were the clear victors by a 20-14 margin over the Bobcats on Friday. The Gators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Landon Tuttle was a standout: he scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Landon Bach also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Wewahitchka hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in eight consecutive contests.

Wewahitchka's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.8 runs over those games. As for Munroe, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Wewahitchka beat the Bobcats by a score of 18-1 later that day.
