The Holdenville Wolverines will face off against the Dibble Demons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Dibble better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Holdenville's game on Friday is any indication, that's when Holdenville really gets things going. The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 52-26 margin over Beggs. The win was just business as usual for the Wolverines, who after six games remain undefeated this season.

Holdenville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abe Gomez, who rushed for 157 yards and three scores while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Gomez's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 117 rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Bo Black, who rushed for 162 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.
Another reason for the win was Holdenville's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. Joe Remis was especially locked on to Beggs' QB and sacked him twice.
Meanwhile, while Dibble put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Comanche. The Demons breezed past the Indians to the tune of 55-0. Given the Demons' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Indians are ranked 210th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Tucker Skipper and Wyatt Malchaski. Skipper rushed for 46 yards and two TDs while Malchaski rushed for 117 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries. Malchaski also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making eight total tackles and defending one pass.
Dibble was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 303 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 269 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.
Holdenville's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Dibble, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
Thursday's game might be decided on the ground. Holdenville has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 473.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Dibble struggles in that department as they've been averaging 219.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Thursday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Holdenville strolled past Dibble in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 38-20. Do the Wolverines have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Demons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
