The Berne Union Rockets suffered their biggest loss since December 1, 2023 on Saturday. They suffered a tough 49-27 loss at the hands of Bishop Rosecrans. If Berne Union hoped to take revenge for the 39-30 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Bishop Rosecrans' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Abby Sagan, who scored 15 points. Danielle Joseph was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Berne Union's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Bishop Rosecrans, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berne Union will challenge Fairfield Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Rosecrans, they will head out on the road to face off against Franklin Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
