River Road is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They came up short against Dalhart, falling 11-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Meanwhile, Bushland waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 10-1 victory. Considering the Falcons have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Lincoln Krause and Wade McConnell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Krause didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over 5.1 innings pitched. Meanwhile, McConnell tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Bushland is 3-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 6-8 otherwise. At the plate, Krause scored a run while going 2-for-3, while McConnell went 3-for-4 with three doubles, one run, and one RBI. Those three hits gave McConnell a new career-high.

Rodriguez is becoming a predictor of Bushland's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 6-9 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Strickland, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
