The Las Lomas Knights had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. The contest between Las Lomas and Dougherty Valley wasn't particularly close, with Las Lomas falling 65-47. Las Lomas has struggled against Dougherty Valley recently, as their game on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Las Lomas still got an impressive performance from Julian Vaucher, who scored 17 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Collin Pangilinan, who scored 10 points.
Las Lomas' loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Dougherty Valley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Las Lomas will be playing at home against McClymonds at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McClymonds is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for Dougherty Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Berkeley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
