After each having a week off, the Stockbridge Tigers and the Jones County Greyhounds will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Last Friday, Stockbridge blew past McDonough, posting a 49-9 victory on the road. The contest marked the Tigers' most dominant win of the season so far.
Edward Minor had a dynamite game for Stockbridge, rushing for 148 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. Edmonds continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 255 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 34 yards. Jaivon Solomon was Edmonds' top target, picking up 157 receiving yards.
Jones County's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Jr Clark and Zach Hurt.
