 Meanwhile, Tahoma was able to grind out a solid  victory over Auburn Riverside on Tuesday, taking the game  8-3.
  Malina Yelle was a standout: she fired off two  home runs and three  RBI while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kalani Higa, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with a  home run and two  RBI.
 Decatur pushed their record up to 7-1 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.3 runs per game. As for Tahoma, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
