North Pike hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are undefeated (3-0) when they post two or more strikeouts.
North Pike's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-4-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Bogue Chitto, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
