The ALA - Anthem South Titans will head out on the road to  square off against  the Globe Tigers  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. ALA - Anthem South will be strutting in after a  win while Globe will be coming in after a  loss.
ALA - Anthem South will roll into the  contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two  runs  on Friday, then bounced right back against Coronado  on Saturday. ALA - Anthem South blew past Coronado 15-4. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Titans' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
 Rigdon Price made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  four innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits. Price was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring four  runs and  stealing a base while going 4-for-4.
 In other batting news, ALA - Anthem South let  Liam Wilson and  Logan Michel run wild. Wilson  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3, while  Michel  scored two  runs and  stole  Two bases. while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Fletcher Pearce, who  scored a  run and  stole  Two bases. while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 ALA - Anthem South  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Coronado only managed seven  hits.
 Meanwhile, Globe fell victim to Valley Christian and their airtight pitching crew  on Thursday. They lost  22-0 to the Trojans. The Tigers have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.
 ALA - Anthem South's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Globe, they now  have a losing record of 2-3.
ALA - Anthem South's speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's   matchup. ALA - Anthem South has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 5.3  stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Globe, though, as  they've been averaging  only 1  stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will ALA - Anthem South continue to outrun the ball?
 ALA - Anthem South might still be hurting after the  12-1 defeat they got from Globe  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023. Can ALA - Anthem South avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
