Football Game Preview: Eldorado Firehawks vs. Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights

Eldorado has gone 3-0 against Democracy Prep Agassi Campus recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eldorado Firehawks will square off against the Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights at 4:30 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Eldorado and eight for Democracy Prep Agassi Campus dating back to last season.

Eldorado lost 32-12 to Mater Academy East Las Vegas on Friday.

Eldorado's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Elizabeth Rubio, who picked up 121 receiving yards and one touchdown, and Aerith Sanchez, who rushed for 101 yards on only ten carries. Sanchez's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked her seventh straight game with at least 101 rushing yards.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Democracy Prep Agassi Campus' offense. They took a blow against Virgin Valley on Wednesday, falling 46-0.

Eldorado's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Democracy Prep Agassi Campus, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Eldorado took their victory against Democracy Prep Agassi Campus when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 30-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eldorado since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
