The Buckholts Badgers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. They were dealt a 60-25 loss at the hands of Fayetteville. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Buckholts in their matchups with Fayetteville: they've now lost nine in a row.
Fayetteville found their leader in underclassman Cambree Denham, who scored 19 points along with six steals and five rebounds. That's the first time this season that Denham scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Kayme Schley, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Buckholts' defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-8. As for Fayetteville, their victory bumped their record up to 9-16.
Buckholts will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Calvert at 5:00 p.m. Calvert and Buckholts are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads. As for Fayetteville, they will head out on the road to square off against Dime Box at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
