Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Cascade Christian Challengers walked away with it. They took their game at home on Saturday with ease, bagging a 40-0 victory over Warrenton. The win was just business as usual for Cascade Christian, who after ten games remain undefeated this season.
Ashton Moody continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 98 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes. Cascade Christian also got a significant boost from Caleb Scaglione, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 96 yards.
Cascade Christian's win was their 13th straight at home (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 10-0. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 45.46 points. As for Warrenton, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5.
Cascade Christian will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Vale at 1:00 p.m. Vale is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Warrenton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
